China is soon going to solve the problem faced by everyone i.e. buying a new charger for every new phone. They recently announced that all the handsets which will be sold in China must have a standard USB charger. This is a great idea because it can save your money as you don’t need to buy a new charger for every new phone you get and also you can charge your cellphones through notebooks or PCs.
But the problem will be faced by accessories manufacturers as they will have to adjust to the new regulation but many of them have still not adjusted because the details of the new regulations have not been provided. It is not clear when this change will be really enforced.

We fancy innovative USB devices and so does everyone. That is the reason we have come up with another USB device for you, a Linda Minicam Pro. We are not saying that it is the first webcam to have infrared or feature LEDs or both but it does feature a flexible neck which is always advantageous. It sports 350,000–pixel CMOS sensor and optional desk stand.
You will get this webcam by paying £21.99 ($29.00) and it is available now in the market.

If you are too tired of using those chargers with messy wires, here’s news for you. WildCharge charges your gadgets, without having to plug your devices to power them up. Wildcharge’s gadget is just a plate that will charge anything placed on it.
We have seen such similar items in the past but things like these face a tough time at the market, thanks to the safety concerns of a wireless charger.
Now you can just take this charger, instead of carrying around your PDA, phone, Skype phone, and iPod charger. This product is expected to hit the shelves in the first quarter of 2007.

ThinkGeek recently added Bluetooth-enabled retro cellphone handset to their catalogue. They claim that there’s nothing out there quite like this handset because this product is a ThinkGeek original design. This product is on sale for $39.99 but they are cheaper than the British company’s models. I give their claim the benefit of the doubt because there are several other Bluetooth version handsets which are cheaper than this $39.99 product.
It says on the tin as: an old-fashioned handset that connects to your cellphone through Bluetooth which is exactly what we found.

Inspite of having a security code on your phone, you might be worried that someone might steal your phone, break the code and make lots of calls through your phone. A new type of lock code has just been created by OKI.
A Japanese company called OKI has created a software which can lock your phone until and unless your iris is recognized. You just have to pick the phone, stick it on to your face and take a picture of your eye. If your iris is recognized then the code of your phone is broken. It is slated for a March release next year.

If the vibrating cellphone in your pocket or purse, doesn’t actually alert you to an incoming call, with its not-so-loud buzz, you can buy an egg-shaped Mobile Phone Sensor Clock with an antenna, that can detect incoming cellphone calls, and kick its little legs. And of course, it also sports a clock.
For it to work, your cellphone should not be more than 6 feet away from the sensor, to get the heebie-jeebies every time a call comes in. Now you don’t have to miss those urgent calls and scratch your head later. It is priced at a cool $18.94.
