New user interfaces must be hard to think up. The iPod Click Wheel spawned a host of mechanized knock-offs, some viable alternatives like Creative’s touch scroll and iriver’s D-Click and interesting solutions like the Cowon iAudio F2’s phone-like control pad. Newman must have thought it’s a great idea since it grafted a version onto its D20c.
Though it already has a 80GB hard drive, the D20c accepts memory expansion cards such as SD, MMC, Memory Stick Pro, CompactFlash and xD-Picture Card, so photo bugs can transfer their images (JPEG, GIF, BMP) for storage. It also has a 2.4-inch screen with 480 x 220-pixel resolution. Video and audio format support runs XviD, MP3 and WMA. 1,999 yuan (S$394) for the 80GB version.

A new technology is being developed that allows the security personnel to see through the people’s clothes. With the help of this technology the security officers can check whether someone is carrying a weapon in his/her clothes.
Currently the process provides the grayscale images but the scientists are really working hard to get the quality up. The process which is being used now is called as passive millimeter-wave technology.
